| Farragut 7, Baylor 1 Senior Nick Williams pitched 1-hit ball for 5.2 innings and struck out 10 for his first win of the season. The nation's No.4 team was led offensively by David Allen (3 hits, 2 runs) and Tyler Noland (home run, 2 RBIs, 2 runs). Williams, who recently recovered from mononucleosis, started fast, striking out four of the first six batters he faced, throwing only 18 pitches in the first two innings. "Nick was throwing 92, 93 miles an hour in the first inning which isn't bad for someone just coming off mono,'' said Farragut first year coach Matt Buckner. While Williams was silencing the Red Raider bats, the Farragut offense put six runs on the board in the first three innings. Bennett had a two-run single in the first, while Noland contributed with a two-run home run to left in the third. Williams had a no-hitter into the sixth until Will Cooper's two-out double drove in Robby Brown who had led off the inning with a walk, his second of the night. "I felt good through four innings, but tired somewhat in the sixth,'' said Williams. "But, overall I thought I pitched well and threw hard.''
